About Us
ALTERA LAB is an alternative space for learning, self-discovery, and community-driven growth. Based in the Aragatsotn region of Armenia, we serve as a dynamic hub where young people — especially from rural areas — can explore their potential through non-formal education, creative expression, and active civic participation.
We go beyond traditional learning models, offering a welcoming environment where education meets inspiration.
Through workshops, training, artistic programs, and community initiatives, ALTERA LAB supports youth in developing essential life skills, building confidence, and becoming active changemakers in their communities.
Functioning as a youth center and social enterprise, we also host a guesthouse whose income helps sustain and expand our impact. At ALTERA LAB, we believe in education that empowers — rooted in values of inclusion, innovation, well-being, and collaboration.
